Wildekrans Wine Estate

Wildekrans Wine Estate is a picturesque 1 000 hectare estate tucked away in the beautiful Bot River Valley amongst fields of indigenous rhenosterbos. Just an hour away from Cape Town International Airport, and 20 minutes from Hermanus, Wildekrans is known for its award-winning wines, olive oils and dining experiences.

“All our wines are bottled on the Estate. We get one shot each year and we have complete control over the process. This means that only the very best quality wines are produced", says Braam Gericke, Head Viticulturist. Our celebrated and award-winning wines are incorporated into two main ranges; The Barrel Select Reserve Range, our signature, premium range, and The Estate Range – our classic range.

Braam Gericke has worked at Wildekrans since 2008. He has been in the farming industry all his life. His family comes from George in the Western Cape, where his father and grandfather were both farmers, and his family still farms in George and Riversdal. “We are working in one of the most interesting industries facing challenges each day, where we are producing world class wines with the rest of the world watching closely, spectators in a world arena on how we make, create and adapt to challenges we face each day…”
