The Icon Chenin Blanc is crafted from a top-tier single vineyard high on the False Bay-facing slopes. This barrel-fermented white is rich and complex, offering layered aromas of stone fruit, honey, dried apricot, violet, and vanilla oak spice. The palate is full and creamy, balanced by crisp acidity, with vibrant pear and peach notes, hints of almond and vanilla, and a long, elegant finish.
It pairs beautifully with pork belly, spicy Asian dishes, and creamy sauces.
Only free-run juice was used, cold fermented in 100% new French oak, with batonnage every two weeks over 4 months. The wine is barrel matured for 12 months, only 2,700 bottles were produced.
